Apparatus for determining the thermal stability of nitrocellulose powders and other nitro containing explosives, according to the Abel-Test at 80°C.


FEATURES

  • Aluminium heating block, electrical heated; 5 holes 17.5 ± 0.1 mm Ø, depth 70 mm; temperature sensor: PT100 probe; excess temperature safety device, fixed at 100°C
  • Programmable heating controller (PID) in a separate control box, length of the power cable: app. 2 m; digital display for actual or set temperature; control accuracy: ±0.1°C; adjustable max temperature: 85°C
